Accommodation

Whisper Journeys, through www.whisperjourneys.com enables you to book different types of accommodation (hotels, guesthouses, villas, etc.) via our online platform. When you make a booking or reservation through our site, on confirmation by Whisper Journeys, you agree to a binding contract with Whisper Journeys, and in turn with the chosen accommodation. When a booking is confirmed, Whisper Journeys will intimate you via email, including a voucher for the specific accommodation.   We have done our best to verify information disclosed on our website about accommodations. Changes in market conditions or circumstances may occur on short notice, making information displayed on the Site inaccurate or outdated. In case of problems, our Customer Service will make every effort to assist you and serve as a point of contact with the accommodation. Whisper Journeys is one of many channels that accommodations use to make their inventory available for reservation. When a search result indicates that a particular accommodation has no more rooms available, that means the room type is not available for reservation through Whisper Journeys. Stated quality, service level or rating of any accommodation by Whisper Journeys should not be considered as recommendation or endorsement of the particular accommodation. Whisper Journeys expressly disclaims any representation, warranty or undertaking in relation to the quality, status or adequacy of any accommodation listed on the Site. Ranking of accommodation is based on various criteria including customer star rating and reviews, and an automated algorithm, which is updated and amended from time to time. Whisper Journeys from time to time may offer accommodations the opportunity to pay to get a top spot, in which case it will be indicated clearly.   Whisper Journeys reserves the right to refuse and reject customers or bookings (or in exceptional cases to cancel confirmed ones) at our discretion and for whatever (legal) reason without justification. Typical reasons for rejecting a customer or booking include a specific request from the accommodation, violation of our Terms of Use, force majeure events, trade or economic sanctions, legal restrictions, (suspicions of) fraud or theft, suspected criminal activity, credit card problems, inappropriate behavior, refusal to supply information, practical obstacles, communication problems, history, blacklisting by governments or international organizations (USA, EU, UN, Singapore), etc. If a booking is rejected or cancelled by Whisper Journeys and a payment has already been made, you will receive a refund of the total booking value. Whisper Journeys reserves the right to blacklist users to our site, on a permanent or temporary basis, at our discretion.   In cases of obvious error, like a mistake on the website (price, conditions), Whisper Journeys may also have to cancel or reject a booking. The booking will be adjusted, or the amount reimbursed without charge in such cases. Whether to cancel or reject a booking for this reason is in Whisper Journeys’ sole discretion. Suspected group bookings may also be rejected or cancelled by Whisper Journeys or the accommodation, as most accommodations have specific procedures for group bookings.   Circumstances such as ongoing renovations, accommodation booking errors, and specific guest needs can affect the quality of your stay. Be sure to let the accommodation know any special requests or requirements you have at check-in.   Star ratings of accommodations Star ratings are based on information we have received from hotels and customers and are provided for your information only. Higher level of comfort is indicated by a higher star rating, but varies greatly on the basis of location, available alternatives, market conditions and other circumstances. Star rating in one city is not comparable to the same star rating in another city. Amenities and features may not be available in every room or every property with a particular star rating. Contact our Customer Service at wecare@whisperjourneys.com to inquire about availability of specific amenities and features desired by you.  

Use of the Site

As stated above, these Terms and Conditions form an agreement between you and Whisper Journeys. Customers are granted a limited, restricted, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicenseable, revocable license to access and may use the Site only as expressly permitted in the Terms of Use. All content and information on the Site, including software and infrastructure used to provide such content and information, is proprietary to Whisper Journeys and its suppliers, providers and partners. Use of this site is only for making legitimate enquiries and bookings. In using this site, users agree not to make false or fraudulent bookings or bulk reservations in anticipation of demand. Customers also undertake that payment details as well as email and postal addresses and other contact details provided are fully correct. As a customer, you agree not to use the site for any illegal purposes or those prohibited in the Terms and Conditions, or modify, copy, distribute, reproduce, publish, re-sell information, software, products or services obtained on this site without express written permission. All users agree not to:

• Use information on this site for non-authorized commercial purposes;
• make fraudulent bookings;
• use robot to access, monitor or copy any content or information on the Site
• bypass measures employed to prevent or limit access to the Site;
• impose disproportionately large load on our web infrastructure;
• deep-link to any portion of the Site
• incorporate any part of the Site into any other website in any measure
• post information that advocates illegal activity;
• post harmful, obscene, pornographic, indecent, racist, insulting, threatening objectionable content;
• post defamatory, slanderous, false or libelous material;
• post information that infringes or violates any intellectual property or other right of any entity or person;
• impersonate another person or entity, or adopt a false identity;
• manipulate identifiers;
• interfere with the use of this Site by others or other users' computer equipment;
• harvest or collect information about others through this site;

• do anything else which could cause damage to the Site, the Whisper Journeys company and their employees, Whisper Journeys’ reputation, or would otherwise have a negative impact;

Unless otherwise expressly permitted, websites may not hyperlink to any page beyond the homepage of the Site or frame the Site or any web page or material without the express written permission of Whisper Journeys. By making a reservation on the Site, you represent and warrant that you are not covered by any international sanction program. You undertake to satisfy all tax obligations, withholding or otherwise as required by your country of residence.  

Prices for Accommodations

Whisper Journeys strives to offer you the best possible prices. Whisper Journeys cannot account for cheaper rates offered on other websites.

Additional Charges by Accommodations

All prices on the Site are for your accommodation room reservation only and are for the requested stay dates and for the number of people indicated, unless indicated otherwise. The accommodation room reservations rates are displayed per room and per night. There may be a charge for taxes and fees included in the charge to your credit card necessary to facilitate transaction with your accommodation, which will be indicated in your invoice.

Booking conditions, cancellations, no-shows, late check out, special needs and additional services.

Every reservation made on our website is subject to booking conditions, including cancellation and no show policies. There may also be certain additional conditions applicable to your specific accommodation. Please read the cancellation and no show policy prior to making reservation with any accommodation. Whisper Journeys also charges a cancellation fee, which will be indicated on your billing invoice. If you wish to make any changes to your reservations, please email us at wecare@whisperjourneys.com. You may contact Whisper Journeys or your accommodation directly for any special needs requests. Whisper Journeys cannot guarantee services at all accommodations and will make necessary refunds, cancellations or modifications if certain promises have been made and not fulfilled. Special requests can only be confirmed upon arrival at a specific accommodation.
