Day 1. Luang Prabang - Kayaking - Pak Ou Caves - Overnight at the Elephant Camp

Meet your guide at the hotel lobby or at Whisper Journeys office and depart by private or join group vehicle to the starting point. Start your adventurous day with a forgettable trip drive up Nam Ou River, where we start the kayak and enjoying the spectacular views. After lunch we will begin the kayak to Pak Ou Caves. One of the most respected and holiest sites of Luang Prabang, which has been a place of worship for more than a thousand years. The cave has more than 3000 Buddha statues inside. We'll then go to Elephant camp stay overnight.

Note:
It is recommended to wear proper shoes and not to forget to bring mosquito spray, sunscreen and the right clothing for the weather. Pak Ou Caves can get crowded on weekends and national holidays

Day 2. Elephant (training, riding & bathing) - Luang Prabang

1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch

After breakfast, pick up your elephant from the jungle and learning about elephants, then riding and bathing them. Relax at the elephant camp before return to Luang Prabang by private or join group vehicle.

  • Group of 10 persons and above will use separate vehicle in Luang Prabang due to UNESCO restrictions on large coaches entering downtown Luang Prabang.
