Start your adventurous day with a trek to a Hmong Village and then kakay down the Nam Ou River to Pak Ou Caves, one of the most respected and holiest sites of Luang Prabang. It has been a place of worship for more than a thousand years. Pak Ou translates to “the mouth of Ou River” and is located north of Luang Prabang on the east bank of the Mekong. • Visit Ban Xang Hai (Whisky village) and observe their traditional weaving technique and how they make Lao Whisky (Lao Lao). All sorts of snakes, insects and bugs are fermented and mixed with the whiskey
