Full Day Including Lunch :

  • In the morning meet your guide in the hotel lobby or at Whisper Journeys office and depart by private or join group vehicle to the kayak starting point

  • Start kayaking down the Nam Khan River

  • Take in the magnificent scenery along the Nam Khan River

  • Relax and have lunch at the waterfall

  • Continue your kayaking adventure down the river through the villages of the Nam Khan area

  • Return to the city by private or join group vehicle.



FULL ITINERARY

Experience a kayaking tour down the Nam Khan River. Take in the beautiful mountain scenery as we travel to the stunning Tad Sae waterfall where you can enjoy a swim in the natural green pools. Relax under the trees and enjoy lunch before again kayaking down the river through green forests and the villages of the Nam Khan area. Visit the famous Ban Phanom Village which is well known for hand-weaving and handicrafts, before being brought back to Luang Prabang.


Note: Between November and January the water temperature is very cool. Picnic lunch, swimming and hiking along the short trail of the waterfall are possible. Do not forget to bring your mosquito spray, sunscreen, swimming suit and to wear proper shoes. Tad Sae waterfall can get crowded on weekends and national holidays.

  • Group of 10 persons and above will use separate vehicle in Luang Prabang due to UNESCO restrictions on large coaches entering downtown Luang Prabang.
